Researchers around the world are collecting data and conducting clinical trials showing the efficacy of Medicinal Mushrooms as a safe therapeutic treatment for the following medical conditions and health ailments:

Traumatic Brain Injury Recovery, Alcohol Abuse Disorder, Opioid Addiction, Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety In Cancer Patients, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, ADHD in Adolescents, Nicotine Addiction, Obesity, Anorexia, Dementia, Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, Learning & Memory Regeneration

Synapse Proof of Concept Study: 25 subjects, EEG preliminary findings:

In the most recent study, 25 participants integrated synapse into their daily routines. The findings uncovered remarkable transformations.

‍95% of our volunteers experienced reduced anxiety, a surge in overall mood, and happiness.

75% of our volunteers showed increases in the brain’s electrical resources for cognitive functioning.

In addition volunteers showed increased expansion of the potentially beneficial Prevotella bacteria species. Increased production of butyrate - a short chain fatty acid considered to positively affect Intestinal mucosal immunity.

EEG Coherence: A measure of brain connectivity

Alpha band (8-13 Hz)

Alpha band coherence % change between baseline and post-Synapse supplement intervention.

Baseline

10% Changes from Baseline

The most profound electrophysiological change for this study participant involved a significant reduction of the brain’s frontal alpha band coherence or connectivity 90 minutes after the first ingestion of 1 Synapse capsule, (as seen in session 2). These changes were accompanied by decreased depression and anxiety symptoms. In session 4, P300 coherence maps show a highly reconnected electrophysiological change accompanied by reported lasting relief of mental health symptoms. This could be interpreted as a “brain reset” or shift in psychological paradigm as commonly described.

These symptomatic and P300 changes lasted beyond the study cycle, supporting the idea that enduring effects occur where these have been hypothesized to be related to the interaction of these supplements with a number of other receptors central to synaptic connectivity in certain pathologies.

EEG P300 Oddball Stimulus: Evoked response - Brain Reaction Voltage (uV), Brain Reaction Time, Physical Latency, Trail making, Theta/Beta Ratio, Frontal Alpha A Symmetry.

Basic EEG Metrics Explained

Brain Reaction Voltage measures how strong the brain is performing.

Voltage Maps show a birds-eye view of where the brain is performing the strongest.
Blue/Green = Low Actvity; Red/Yellow = High Actvity.

Voltage Maps will change as a result of trauma (concussion/ stroke) or lifestyle change (treatment intervention, cardiovascular fitness, sleep, diet, age, medication change, brain supplements, neuro therapies, etc.).

Brain Reaction Time measures how fast the brain is performing.

Physical Reac1on Time measures how fast the body is performing.

Frontal Alpha Balance measures the symmetry of the alpha brainwave in the frontal region of the brain. Research has shown that asymmetric results could correlate with stress, anxiety, and low moods.

Trail Making Part A

Trail Making Part B

Trailmaking Tests are timed neuropsychological tests used measure executive cognitive functions such as: working memory, eye-tracking, attention and cognitive processing speed.
